Account Manager / Sales Executive – Media, Publishing & PR
Location: Dover, Kent, CT16 1PJ (Office-Based)
Are you a confident sales professional or account manager looking for an exciting role with international exposure and a rewarding full-time paid and commission structure? We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, growing media and publishing company at the heart of Dover.
We specialise in industry-leading publications within the field of Intellectual Property law, including our globally recognised flagship magazines and a pioneering women-only print, digital, and audio platform. As part of our small but ambitious team, you’ll play a vital role in driving growth, building strong client relationships, and representing our brand on the international stage.
The Role

Sell editorial and advertising opportunities across our respected IP law publications (print, digital, and audio).

Build, manage, and grow client relationships with senior decision-makers internationally.

Represent our brand at 2–3 international conferences per year (travel expenses covered).

Develop a consultative sales approach, ensuring clients receive excellent service and added-value opportunities.

Contribute to the growth of a unique, forward-thinking media brand.
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in sales and/or account management.

A confident and professional telephone manner, with the ability to speak at senior levels internationally.

Tenacity, resilience, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

A professional approach, with strong respect for client relationships.

Based locally in or near Dover, Kent (this is an office-based role).

Competitive Salary: £25,000 – £25,500 basic, dependent on experience.

Uncapped Commission: 5%–6.5% commission with realistic OTE of £40,000–£45,000.

Full-time role, Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., based at our Castle Street, Dover office.
