Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Freelance Editor with exceptional editing skills to join our team. While a background in intellectual property law is desirable and would be considered a bonus, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet strict print deadlines while maintaining the high editorial standards our readers expect. This is a flexible remote role with compensation paid per article edited.
Key Responsibilities:

Edit and proofread articles for grammar, punctuation, style, and factual accuracy.

Ensure content adheres to The Global IP Matrix Magazine's editorial guidelines and tone.

Collaborate with contributors to address content-related queries or revisions as needed.

Maintain a consistent level of quality across all published articles.

Work at a fast pace to meet tight print and publication deadlines.

Manage and prioritise multiple editing assignments efficiently.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in editing or proofreading, preferably within publishing or journalism.

Strong command of the English language with excellent attention to detail.
